Elisabeth Hoff was born in Norway in the 1972. Her early years were spent sailing around the world with her parents and two brothers on their self built yacht, red admiral. During this time she lived in many different countries including barbados, new zealand and pitcairn island. Elisabeth didnõt realise her destiny was to become a photographer until her late 20õs - before then she studied marine biology, worked in sea turtle conservation, did more sailing and made an attempt to be the first women to sail solo across the atlantic. This almost ended in disaster after her rowing boat capsized during a freak storm 1000km west of the moroccan coast. She was rescued at sea by a norwegian oil tanker and taken to brazil. After her near death experience she realised that the future lay in following her lifelong passion for photography - and she has done so ever since. Elisabethõs work covers fashion, beauty, music and portraiture.
