Fixing or Fixated?

We are told that, true beauty is about confidence and self acceptance. We know deep down that a set of white veneers, a wrinkle free face and a perfect tan is not going to bring lasting happiness – yet we persist in the chase of flawlessness, none the less.

It’s a fine line between the odd small fix, and a full-blown fixation with chasing perfection.

If we take the time to stop and see the big picture, connect with others who love us for who we are and show more empathy towards ourselves, we might not feel the need to spend so much time and money trying to alter our appearance.

Perhaps there is perfection; it’s just being exactly the way you are?

Maybe it’s time to connect, show some love and wake up to the present moment.
